I just purchased a Razer Blade 15 this weekend, and I can’t play anything online because whenever I start a game, the wifi disconnects. I played a game on my xbox simultaneously to check if it was my wifi, and I had no connection issues with the console. Does anyone know what the issue could be?

I have the exact same issue, tested on multiple games and the moment the game boots I lose the internet connection.

I have tried what is said on the link above but with no luck.

All my drivers are up to date, I uninstalled/reinstalled the Wifi adapter, made sure my Intel drivers are ok but the problem is still there.

Hey I dont know if you solved but I had the same issue as you and a lot of people have it and I manage to get to the bottom of it and solve it.

I have a Razer Blade 14 2022 edition (3070ti). After days and days of trials and testing I found out that when you put 3D apps in the foreground (mind you, internet works fine if the game is in the background and you have some other window selected, it doesn’t drop the internet) the wifi band drops a level. The issue is a combination of obscure windows 11 power settings and router opting to use 6Ghz band. If your router supports 6Ghz, band just disable it and stick with 2.4g and 5g. That way when you play games the internet will stick between those two bands. It seems 6G uses quite a lot of power which mess with the power settings. Also you will notice if you unplug your laptop, you can still have your 6g band and play and your internet will be fine.

I tested everything from xbox live, steam and Wow. Everything is back to normal since I disabled the 6g band.

It might even be outdate wifi drivers that dont fully support 6g.

I hope this helps.

I am having the same exact problem as you (Blade 16 2023).  If I connect to WiFi 6 and game, WiFi would drop and I couldn’t reconnect.  The only way to get WiFi back is to reboot.

Other than not connecting WiFi 6, is there another way around this?

Thanks!
