Razer Blade 15 In-Built Speaker Not Working | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
Hi guys,

I'm having some issues with my Razer Blade 15” Advanced (2019) | RZ09-0301 in-built speakers. (or audio in general). Just yesterday, the audio stopped working halfway during gaming (game did not crash, the audio stopped abruptly).

There's a 'x' on the speaker icon in the menu tray below (see attached Screenshot 1), the speakers are not showing up in the Playback tab in the sound setting (see attached screenshot 2), and one of the audio Realtek drivers is not showing up in the device manager (see attached screenshot 3)

Inserting a headphone into the headphone jack doesn't work as well.

I've tried the below solutions to no avail:

1) Uninstalling and reinstalling all the audio drivers

2) Updating the audio drivers

3) Stopping and restarting the windows audio services

4) Checked windows update history, there was no windows update happening at that time

5) Tried system restore to a point when audio was working (this did not work as well so I rolled back the system restore)

6) Windows troubleshooting, but there seems to be 'no device' to troubleshoot for.

I've run out of ideas so I'm hoping you guys can shed some light onto it. Could it be a hardware (sound card)? If so is there any way to check it?

Much appreciated if anyone could help me in this.

I appreciate the steps that you've performed so far. Did you try downloading the Intel Driver & Support Assistant and check if there's an available update for your unit's hardware drivers? Feel free to submit a case to our Support Team or send me a PM should you need additional assistance. I'll be locking this thread to curb our conversation privately.
