Razer Blade 15 mid 2019 - Fans on all the time
Hi, I just bought the razer blade 15 mid 2019 base and ever since I first turned on the computer, I've noticed that the fans are going ALL the time. It doesn't matter if I'm not doing anything or just downloading things. The fans are constantly on. Is this typical behavior of this laptop? I have already tried disabling turbo boost and that only served to decrease the amount of fan noise but not stop it completely. The laptop isnt even warm to the touch, so I'm not sure why the fans are always in use. Help!

The fan controls may have gone rogue. I highly recommend that you clean install Synapse 3 then tweak the Fan RPM using the app. Don't hesitate to shoot me a PM if the problem persists.
The fans seem to have calmed down since I undervolted. Is there a way to completely disable the fans ?

Mr-MysteryThere's no way to do that on a laptop. Even if you successfully do so, you'd pretty much be killing the laptop from the inside.

ii meant just temporarily. I repasted with kyronaut and i dont see any temp difference at all. Is that normal?

Mr-MysteryI have nothing against Kryonaut. But there have been reports that some devices are running hotter after switching to this brand. @Joikansai Would you happen to know more about this?

oh i see. I just ordered some noctua paste, hopefully that will be an improvement over the kyronaut.

Razer.Cazielunfortunately not seeing significant temp reductions but not getting as bad thermal throttling. I managed to strip some of the screws in the back cover of the laptop when reassmbling. Does anyone know what the size of the screws are on the razer blade 15 base 2019? Edit: the model number is rz09-03006e92

The laptop uses T5 M2-3.5L screws. Use a T5 Torx driver to avoid stripping the screws. You can find them in local stores that sell computers or other electronic/gadget centers.

Mr-MysteryThey are almost always out of stock since a lot of people request for spares. The current waitlist is a bit too long for me to recommend that you go that route.
is there any way to get them from razer? I can only find silver screws.
