I have a Razer Blade 15 2020 Base model laptop that I had recently performed a fresh Win11 install on. Having some issues with it restarting 3-4 times when I do a cold start on battery and not AC (RGB turns on and off twice, then it show post and restarts). The battery itself cant seem to hold a charge, I get 1-2 hours during light weight tasks. The battery life / time even jumps from 3Hrs- 1Hr - 2Hrs - 1Hr - 3Hrs (all while just idle, watching YouTube, and even during the creation of this ticket).
I’ve read plenty of articles and tried many of things, but nothing has really worked. BIOS seems to be locked so I cant even attempt some of the tricks that helped other users (Like disabling USB Legacy; Fast Boot). My BIOS is already updated to the most recent version too.
I tried a EC reset by holding down the power button during off state for 15-20 seconds, that hasn’t helped the booting process. I’ve also ran a Battery Report which seemed to show a very healthy battery despite the issues I’m having with the battery depletion happening very fast and unpredictable. Ideally I’d like to steer away from lowering the HZ of the monitor, disabling RGB lighting, and changing power plans as this was never a issue for me prior. Part of why I bought a Razer Blade was to enjoy the performance, and looks while using the laptop as a mobile device and not always plugged in.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’m willing to test several things, and give more information if needed.
