I’ve tried everything from disabling the adapter, doing a full uninstall reinstall, going into the Network settings and trying to change it. I’m about to see if a driver update has caused it but I rollback the driver and still have the same issue. I check the properties of the adapter and it’s saying it has failed to start.

Did you already try the steps here for further isolation? PM me the serial number so I can validate its model and check for other model-specific steps to help us resolve the Wi-Fi issue of your laptop. Thanks!
