I’ve been trying to get assistance from technical support for my Razer Blade 17 but the process has been and continues to be eye wateringly painful and I’m getting desperate. I’ve registered it with Razer and have a Razer ID.
My initial problem is that it would connect to the internet but not permit access to any websites. Which is a bit of a disaster when all my work is cloud based. I have submitted a ticket but hoping that someone here may be able to help me out. As I have worked through all of the steps on the Razer website for troubleshooting the issue, including resetting to factory settings the suggestion is to ‘reimage the device’. I have been asked to 1) Download a recovery image from Razer and 2)create and use a system recovery stick.
I am unable to download a recovery image. When I go to Razer Online Services and click on ‘System Recovery Image for registered laptops” nothing happens. When I try to input the serial number I get a message that says the product is already registered. It’s an endless circle of frustration.
Is it possible that there is not a Recovery Image available? In which case do I go ahead and do the system recovery? I know I should wait to hear back from technical support but iIve been unable to work on the laptop for 4 days…
