Hello Razer Support,
I have a Razer Blade 18 (2024), model RZ09-0509, with a KI8100 motherboard.
I am trying to install the official main firmware:
RazerUpdater_v1.1.1.3_KI8100-NVM16.1v6
However, the updater immediately says:
“This firmware tool is for use only with Razer Blade 18 and compatible system.”
The problem is that my system has no serial number programmed/displayed.
Windows reports:
- Manufacturer: Razer
- Model: Blade 18 - RZ09-0509
- Motherboard: KI8100
- BIOS: 1.06
- UUID: Present
- BIOS Serial Number: Blank
- Motherboard Serial Number: Blank
- Chassis Serial Number: Blank
- IdentifyingNumber/SKU: Blank
I have also tried contacting Razer Support, but the support chatbot requires a 15-character serial number, which I cannot provide because the serial number is not present on the system.
Could someone from Razer Support please help me create a support case or escalate this to the appropriate repair team so the missing DMI/SMBIOS information can be restored and I can properly install the official firmware?
I can provide screenshots of the BIOS/Windows information and the firmware updater error if required.
