Hello i have Razer blade 17 2080 super 300hz
Having hard time playing warzone on it.
The issue is that after 30-60min of gameplay my performance drops nearly 40%
Things i've done to optimize the laptop :
1. Fresh windows install, super clean with only 4 programs installed like intel, realtek, nvidia and razer.
2. Everything is turned off Background apps, Privacy, startup etc etc.
3. I do have a portable stand with no fans and my laptop sitting on it for perfect air flow hooked up to external monitor.
Basically its super clean nothing on it but the game and necessary drivers.
Also the game is on minimal graphics since i am a very sweaty player and all i care about is performance.
After a very long research i came to the conclusion that this is just how laptops work ... in order to keep the hardware cool they limit the performance of the CPU and nothing you can do ... unless there is something that i don't know and i would appreciate some help but i doubt it ...
Starting to regret my design, going for laptop instead of pc,i could have i9-12900k with 3090 for the price i paid.

Here is just to show what is happening in game :
Settings are all the same minimal 1080p
First hour of gameplay: 150-180 FPS

After one Hour of gameplay : 108-120 FPS

NOTE :
This is the FPS In a small area called gulag, the FPS in the actual Map of Warzone is a lot lower and drops to 80-90 fps to where the game beings very unplayable for me.
And this is only after a few hours of gaming.
If you play for 6 -10 hours, the performance is going to get a lot worse as you play.

Hi Lightni! I appreciate the thing that you have tried so far. However, the laptop could have a hardware issue. Please check the following article:
• How to keep the Razer Blade at an optimal temperature while gaming
• How to fix low FPS when gaming:
• Laptop's capped to 30 when on battery
