Razer blade pro 17 (2019) overheating

I have noticed the laptop can overheat sometimes and today a game shut down cause of overheating. I am irked that your software (which i feel gimps this machine) is not letting me set the fans to 100% constantly with performance mode? i am hoping this is not the case and i am doing something wrong, but i think your razer synapse software is gimping the performance by not letting me set to fans 100% at all times in performance mode. I am not going to replace the thermal paste as i shouldnt need to and it will probably ruin the warranty. Can you advise on how i can run fans at 100% with laptop set to performance mode. And also recommend me a good cooling pad for the laptop
