I have tried everything and my laptop display will not use the NVIDIA RTX2070 Max Q, only the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630. This occurs with no external monitor connected but when I do connect an external monitor to either a USB-C or HDMI port, the external automatically uses the NVIDIA card. I have gone through the setup in the NVIDIA Control Panel, updated the bio, installed the latest graphics card drivers, and Window is up to date.

How can I set this up so my laptop display will use the NVIDIA card? It almost seems like the laptop is designed to only use the integrated Intel graphics. What good is a gaming laptop if it can't use the more powerful NVIDIA card?
It would be nice to get a support reply to this! Perhaps this is just a design flaw in this model that Razer does not want to talk about?
I have the same model. I haven’t had issues getting it to use the NVIDIA card. What are you seeing that leads you to conclude that yours is using the Intel built-in one?
Thanks for your reply. When I go to "display settings", "advanced display settings", when I select the internal monitor it says "connected to Intel UHD graphics 630, and when I select an external display (USB-C) it shows connected to RTX 2070 with Max Q. Also, when I open the NVIDIA control panel, for all settings it shows ONLY external monitors which are connected at the time to either USB-C or HDMI, but does not show the internal monitor connection anywhere.
