A few of my keys have been sticking on my keyboard since my battery overheated and expanded. Now that I have replaced the battery, the "R" key finally died and is stuck open.

To fix the issue I desoldered the mechanical switch under one of my least used keys (The play/pause button near the volume roller) and replaced the R key's switch.

Whilst this was an annoying and fiddly process, it is possible. I don't recommend it and hope I don't have to deal with that level of fix again. Ideally I would like to just replace the whole keyboard module like most people do with pretty much every other brand of laptop on the market.

My question is, does anyone know where I can buy a full replacement keyboard or even a second hand one to harvest the mechanical switches from?

I am starting straight out with the assumption that Razer doesn't supply them as spares.



Any info would be greatly appreciated.
