Razer Blade Stealth 13 with Core X Ethernet Drop Issue | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
Hi there,

I have been experiencing Ethernet dropping issue in my RBS 13 (Windows 10) + Core X Chroma setup. The Ethernet goes into no internet access state after I plug in the ethernet for 3-5 minutes. WiFi is working without any issue. I tried multiple ways to fix the ethernet issue and here are the current outcomes:

1. Install the latest ASIX network adapter driver 1.20.7.0 - does not fix the issue

2. In the device manager ASIX AX88179 network adapter advanced setting, changing the Interrupt Moderation Rate to Disabled - Ethernet is not dropping, however, the speed is only 1/4 of the expected speed(1Gbps) and even lower than WIFI(~400 Mbps).

3. Reboot/Disable and Enable the network adapter - bring the connection back for about 3-5 mins and then drop again

4. Uninstall and reinstall latest TB3 driver - does not fix the issue

Any ideas on how to solve this? Thanks!

Hi there! Thanks for creating this thread. That's odd. Have you checked your Razer Blade's latest firmware from our Razer Support site? Please send me a PM together with the following:

a. Screenshot of System Information (Hit Windows+R to open the Run box. Type “msinfo32” into the “Open” field, and then hit Enter.)

b. Screenshot of Windows version (Hit Windows + R. Open the Run box with then type winver)

c. Screenshot of Synapse version (Click the gear/cog icon at the top right. For Synapse 3.0, click “About”).

d. BIOS main tab.

e. Synapse 3.0 logs.

Save the compressed files via Google Drive or any online drive account, then paste the link in your PM. Let's continue from there.

Note: Please refrain from using your device's serial number as Razer ID for your security as others may use it. You can edit/change it here.
