Been doing as much research as I can on my current issue but haven’t found a solution. Here are the facts:
Came home from work with the power off (outage later recovered)
Booted my laptop up and it immediately went into recovery mode. Tried accessing BIOS or the recovery menu before it goes into recovery mode and doesn’t work.
After researching and realizing my only option is likely to just “start recovery” and reset my laptop to factory default (which I’m fine with), I start recovery.
After about a minute it finishes recovery and says it will shutdown in 10 seconds. After it shuts down I wait for it to turn itself back on and it doesn’t. It then takes me back to the recovery menu to either start recovery or exit & shutdown (same options I had initially).
I’ve tried the exit&shutdown option 5 times so I could attempt to access BIOS but didn’t work at any time. I then accepted the factory default and tried that 4 times and every time it just shuts down and doesn’t turn back on unless I turn it on manually. Then I end up back at the recovery screen. Any advice?
