Razer Book 13 swollen battery - Where to get original parts?

I would look on Ebay for a broken version of your laptop that has a dead screen or motherboard but still has a working battery that you can scavenge. 

Is here anyone who know how to find a razer care center in germany?

I got the exact same situation on Razer Book and also did what you’ve done (buy a 3rd party battery), would like to know where can I buy that in UK

same problem here. I’m also not confident in using a battery from third party sellers, like on Amazon etc.

I’m now using my Razorbook without a battery. Not ideal, but I don’t have to fear the next battery to be a potential hazard.

Same here with my Razer Book 13. It started happening after around three years of heavy use. I first noticed my laptop bloating slightly when it got hot. Now, after 3.5 years, my Razer Book 13 can't close the lid properly and the trackpad is bending.

I couldn't find any original replacements for a long time, but I kept searching eBay for used Razer Books or original parts. I got lucky and found a used original battery in good condition from the UK. I will report back once I receive the replacement.

In the meantime, I suggest keeping an eye out for used parts — I doubt you'll find any new original parts since the laptop has been discontinued and has been out of warranty for a while now.

How good I feel after I found this thread.

I was in a doomed mood for months. It’s like when you feel that something is perfectly fine, but it has one broken part that is not fixable, and you know it’s doomed. I especially thought this way about my Book 13. I feel it’s “obsolete” because I’ve used it for 5 years. But it’s a perfectly fine laptop and still much better than the new laptops my family buys now.

So I bought this one 5 years ago, already used for a year. I bought it for my gf, but I loved it so much that she got some Dell instead. I run heavy things on it, and it was totally fine. Finally, I noticed it started getting crazy hot at the beginning of 2025, and then I couldn’t close it. I opened it and found out the battery was bloated.

I started looking online for parts. I found an original battery, but it was dead. I returned it. I ordered a 3rd-party battery, and it worked well. For like 5 months. Then it bloated again.

I was able to order absolutely “the same” one (same store, and I even gave them my previous order number) 6 months later (I was traveling), but this time my laptop couldn’t recognize it. But it could use power from it until it got completely discharged, and I was never able to charge it again.

I wrote to the shop, and they sent me a replacement. But it was absolutely the same situation. I could use it, but it wasn’t detectable. At this point, I quickly did a lot of diagnostics with AI at the lowest level (I use Linux), and I confirmed it wasn’t a software error.

I didn’t do the voltage checks. I would like to check it sometime. But it’s so relieving for me to learn that, with high probability, the problem is not with my laptop but with two unlucky batteries after one valid one.
