Hello I bought a razer book 13 used and wanted to restore windows but I was unable to do so. I have just been running linux for a month but would like to go back to windows. I downloaded the restore files from your website after I put in what model etc I had and when I try to boot of the usb I just get a bunch of different BSOD. Any idea how to fix these? Thanks

Replying to you right now from my Book 13 running Linux, which ran Windows 11 until a few weeks ago.

Unfortunately the Razer provided downloadable recovery files are completely unusable garbage. You can confirm this from searching this forum. If your Book has had its recovery partition erased, there is no way to get your laptop exactly back to the Razer supplied configuration.

You will need to download a Windows iso and put it on a USB stick to clean install Windows; if you want to retain a Linux partition, you’ll need to reinstall this after installing Windows.

Once installed, you may need to call Microsoft to transfer the Windows 10 license from the sticker/details on your machine over if you have gone that route. For me, it worked and activated without this step, but I had the advantage of owning this Book from release so it may still have been bound to my account.

Clean installing Windows 11, everything works now on the Book once you have installed Razer software. For a while after Windows 11 came out not everything worked out of the box.
