Razer Chroma Addressable RGB Controller - lights flickering when using Wallpaper Engine

When syncing Synapse with Wallpaper Engine, the lights connected to the Razer RGB Controller are flickering like crazy. Interestingly, this doesn't appear with other connected apps like Chroma Visualizer.
