The mouse cursor does not move despite my attempts to unplug and replug it, as well as testing it on another computer. However, it still fails to function

Have you tried using it on a different surface? You can also reinstall your mouse’s drivers. If that didn’t work, then you can send me a PM along with your mouse’s serial number so I can check for other workarounds.
