Razer Controller Setup for Xbox doesn't Recognise Controller

I have a Razer Wolverine v3 TE which works fine as a controller however still has a 1.0 Firmware on it. I tried to change the button mappings on the Xbox version of the setup app however, the firmware on the controller must be updated to use the app. It tells me to go to the firmware updater (which I downloaded on my PC) to update. this did not work and flashed up an unknown error window on the pc. I then tried to update the controller using the PC version of the setup app however the app will not recognise the controller at all (whether it is in Xbox or PC mode). 

Any Help with this issue would be greatly appreciated...

Hello Razer Support,

I'm experiencing intermittent connection issues with my Razer Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition (8K) wired controller on PC.

The controller frequently fails to connect to my PC. When connected via USB, the controller's light sometimes starts blinking, but the device never fully connects. Windows occasionally detects the controller for about a second, then it immediately disconnects.

Tried multiple USB cables, restarted Razer Synapse, restarted my PC multiple times, reconnected the controller several times and also tested different USB ports.

The issue first occurred about two days ago.After the problem started, I disconnected the controller and left it unused.This morning, I plugged it back in and it worked normally again.Later the same day, during the evening, the exact same connection issues returned.

The controller LED blinks intermittently, it´s also  detected briefly by Windows, then disconnects, basically it cannot maintain a stable connection. This issue  appears to come and go without any clear pattern.

Could you please advise on any additional troubleshooting steps or determine whether this may be a hardware or firmware-related issue?
