Razer Core and UM690 | Razer Insider

I currently have a both a MinisForum UM690 (Up to date drivers) and a Razer Core (RC21-00940) eGPU enclosure with a GTX 1080. I can get the eGPU to recogonize on my HP Omen laptop, but not on the USB4 port on the UM690. I tried disabling Hybrid Sleep and USB selective suspend, as suggested in other threads regarding getting eGPU's working with this machine. When plugging the Razer Core into the UM690 USB4 port, I do hear a click in the Razer Core, but then nothing happens. When plugging Razer Core into the HP Omen, I hear the same click, then a Thunderbolt controller window pops up in Windows. From there it connects and all is well. Not sure why the AMD USB4 controller is not doing something similar. Any advice?

Anyone have any thoughts on this? I am still stumped.

I had the same problem with the UM690 connecting to a Razer Core X Chroma and an RTX4070. It connects to the encloser without the graphics card fine but when I put the graphics card in it would spin for a bit then drop the connection. I eventually got it to work after reading a thread on this site which advised to disable a certain windows security update, which I did although after doing so still nothing (I cannot remember which but am looking for it again). So I went into security devices on device manager and disabled what I could there, turned off the pc and rebooted it while connected to the powered on eGPU, after that it worked well, but the MinisForum loading screen wasn’t clear (green dots appeared over logo and across screen) until it got to windows then it was fine. However my UM690 broke down last month and they replaced it with a UM690S that has an AMD trusted platform module 2.0 (I cannot remember this being on the UM690) which can’t be disabled. So to make a short answer long disable what you can under security devices on device manager, I did get it to work well on the UM690 but can’t so far on the UM690S.
