I have a Razer core x with a 6800xt, I have tried it on both a Mac mini 2018 and a MacBook Pro 2017 and the instant the Egpu is plugged in the Mac crashes. If it’s plugged in before power on both macs won’t boot
I have also tried booting into windows on the Mac mini with no success
it works fine with my 6600xt
any help greatly appreciated as I’m at a loss
There was a bit workaround when pairing Egpu with intel mac especially on nvidia one like plugging firstly when windows logo on bootcamp show but it was also not always going well when I tried it because of that I sold that mbp intel for windows laptop which is instantly plug and go. For current workaround maybe you can check enthusiast Egpu forums like Egpu.io or Egpu subreddit.
