Razer Core X Chroma issues | Razer Insider

I recently purchased a Core X Chrome, and using a NVidia 2060. Just to drive my external 5K screen.

My laptop is a HP Spectre X360 10th Gen i7 ice lake running on Windows 10 latest build.

When the laptop comes back from sleep, it fails to detect the Core X, however I get the display on my external screen, but none of the USB devices plugged in work. Device manager reports that its got issues with the ASMedia driver which is for the Core X and get a yellow exclamation. When I restart it starts to work again as normal.

Other issues is laptop fails to boot with the Core x connected, I just get a black screen and nothing happens. So everytime I need to restart need to unplug the core x and plug it back in.

Has anyone experienced this issue before?
yes. I have a Spectre X360 and I have the same issues. On reboot, I have to be disconnected or I get a blank screen.
So I am not alone. Does anyone know a way to fix this issue?
Just wondering if I made the right choice buying Razer!
I think its safe to safe this is the worst support I have ever received for a purchased product.

I just ran into this myself. Searching around for answers, I tried someone else's solution, which worked for me: Uninstall Razer Synapse. Fixed my issue where my eGPU monitor wouldn't work after waking from hibernate, as well as hot-plugging.
