Razer Core X repair problems | Razer Insider

I have a Razer Core X with physical damage to the main board. I first contacted Razer customer support and told them what happened and asked if they could provide me a board schematic showing just the damaged area so i could repair it. They said no and proceeded to set me up an out-of-warranty repair RMA. This costs a flat $95 to ship them the board and get me repair quote. I have asked at least 5 times on our last few emails asking 2 specific questions that that simply do not answer. I dont know if its not really a human replying to my emails, or if there is possibly a language barrier, or if i just keep getting different idiots that chooses to respond to me.  Here were my two simple questions…

  1.  Can i just buy a new main board and how much is it?

  2. What is the maximum repair cost possible for my main board?

They never respond about buying a new board outright. They just keep saying that i have to send it in before they will tell me the maximum it could cost.   They have to have a cost that the board is no longer economically repairable. You cant charge $400 to fix something that can be bought new for $400 for example.

So, does anyone know what the max repair cost would be to repair some solder pads and traces on the Core X main board?  If a replacement main board is $200, then the repair cost would not exceed $200. This shouldnt be that hard. I don’t want to drop $95 for them to tell me the board repair will be $200 because i can buy a new one online for $199.

Anyone???
