I’ve just received my Razer Core X V2 and was excited to get it hooked up to my laptop only to find it wouldn’t power on. When I turn the PSU on, the fan on the eGPU does a quick spin before shutting off, and there are no visible lights anywhere on the unit. When I turn the PSU off, the fan briefly spins again.
I’ve troubleshooted to the extent that I can. I’ve tested multiple PSUs, made sure the GPU is good, reseated the GPU, and disconnected and reconnected everything. No change. I’m not ruling out a dumb mistake on my part (because it wouldn’t be the first time), but I can’t help but think I got a defective unit.
I was going to contact support via the live chat, but the chat button is grayed out no matter the device or browser so I’m unable to do so. Hoping my issue gets seen here. Thanks in advance.
