Razer Cynosa V2 - mute button no longer turning red

Hi there, ever since the last software update my Cynosa V2 no longer turns the mute button red when my pc is muted. So prior to the most recent update, if I hit the mute key, the key would turn red (regardless of the colour currently over the rest of the keys). However now it remains the same colour as the rest of the keys with no visual indicator from the keyboard my pc is muted. Any suggestions appreciated.
