My side buttons stopped working, and only my mouse 4 and 5, while playing an fps game, where i have a low ish dpi and i move my mouse side to side a lot. i bought this mouse over 3-4 years ago but have only really used it more recently, since mid 2025 until about 2 months ago. since i already had a viper ultimate ive switched to that, but found my experience on the da v2 to be way better for my hands and feel, and i dont want to spend anything on a replacement if im able to fix it on my own.

+1Start by creating new, empty profile in Synapse.
If you’re on Synapse 4 then go to your mouse settings → click top-right side (?) - help button and there will be factory reset - click it.
