Razer Death Adder Elite Mouse lights on but not working

Just got myself a DA Elite mouse and it connects, works fine for about 15 minutes, and then stops moving on the screen. The lights are still on and cycling so it has power. I don't know what to do to fix this. I just installed the Synapse program and can uninstall and reinstall, so I will do that shortly. Any other advice? I hope this thing doesn't have hardware failure out the box.

My serial number is **************. I called Razor and got a case started. I literally just got this in the mail today so I am working through software, cleaning, and other technical issues. :) I also have switched with USB port it is plugged into to see if that helps.
