I have a Razer Deathadder Elite, that I bought from Target less than two years ago.
It just started double clicking and also when I click-and-hold... it "lets go" on its own and sometimes clicks and holds again.
It seems the Omron switch has gone bad. This is the *2nd* Razer mouse I've had this same issue with. The first mouse was used, so I kind of figured it might have been just old age.
But this mouse, I've had only about a year and a half so far. I'm very disappointed. Especially since when I looked up the SN, it is telling me it is out of Warranty... but supposedly, Razer's Mice products have a two year warranty.
I bought this at Target on 4/1/2019

I was looking at the forums because I have the same issue. I've tested it by switching the primary button from left to right and it doesn't double click on the right button. So it must be a hardware issue. My mouse was a gift but it was from about a year ago as well. So both of our issues are happening around the same lifespan of the mouse.
