Razer DeathAdder Elite Side Bottons Problem

So I just bought the mouse about 3 days ago and if you click the 2 side buttons in at once or slide from one button to the next while holding it down it does not switch to the other button. It will stay locked onto whatever it was before until you take your thumb off and click again. Is this normal? I can try to post a video of it too.

Hi there! A video of the issue would be great. Also, are side buttons assigned to specific keys?
