Razer Deathadder Essential mouse is being identified as a keyboard and the cursor is not moving

I recently bought the razer deathadder essential from my friend, but the big problem is that all of the buttons work, except tracking for some reason. When I go to the device manager, it can get either identified as a) HID-compliant keyboard, b) HID I2C device, or C) HID compliant mouse; I've already tried to uninstall all of those drivers and repluging the mouse, but, as expected, didn't work. Furthermore, sometimes the mouse gets identified by Synapse and sometimes doesn't. I also tried to clean the sensor with a cotton pick, removed all razer related drivers and reinstalling Synapse, but that doesn't seem to work as well;

Hey there, @Guilherme10074!

I understand you're having issues with your Razer Deathadder Essential mouse. No worries, I can help you with that! Please try these troubleshooting steps on this link to help resolve the issue:

1. Ensure the device is plugged in directly to a PC and not a USB hub.

2. Test the mouse on a different surface. Make sure to avoid surfaces that are rough, shiny or glossy such as glass or similar materials.

3. Test the Razer mouse with a different system without Razer Synapse if applicable.

4. Reset your Razer mouse's Surface Calibration. See How to use the Surface Calibration in Razer Razer Synapse 2.0Razer Synapse 3 or Razer Synapse 4.

If the issue persists after performing the troubleshooting steps, please send me a PM together with your device's serial number and proof of purchase for a possible warranty claim. You can upload your proof of purchase to your Google Drive and send me the link. Make sure that the link is set the sharing settings to "Anyone with the link can view". Thank you!
