I bought a Razer Deathadder V2 and plugged it into my computer which promptly froze at the splash screen while trying to boot up. After a bit of trial and error I realised that the computer booted immediately after I unplugged the mouse. While in Windows I can plug the mouse in again and use it, no problem. But as soon as I reboot I get the same problem – it freezes at the boot splash screen until the mouse is unplugged.



Oh yeah, sometimes the mouse lights up during boot and sometimes it doesn’t. Just to add to the confusion.



Does anybody have any idea what’s going on?
