Razer Deathadder v2 (wired) mouse slowing sensitivity by tiself

in lde or during the use the mouse sensitivity starts to constantly slowing down without any of instruction to do so. And this occurs quite fast. Not even an hour has to pass for the sensitivity to be very noticeably and annoyingly slower. I can see sensitivity downgrade popup from Synapse. It feels like some software issue OR my mouse broken? I’m not heavy gamer, mostly for “Office using”, but it’s very annoying.

I saw few topics about this on portal, but there is no word about fix….Looks like this issue is living for years… Would glad  to get some help, love this mouse

Hi Lackie69,

Does the sensitivity issue start immediately after plugging in the mouse, or does it happen after a certain period of use?  Can you describe the exact changes in sensitivity? For instance, does it feel sluggish, or does it not respond at all at certain movements? Do you see the sensitivity downgrade popup from Synapse at specific intervals, or is it random? Is your mouse clean and free from debris? Sometimes dust or buildup can interfere with optical sensors. To fix and isolate the issue, try steps laid out below:

  1. Try to use a different mouse pad or surface to ensure the sensor isn’t affected by the current one.
  2. Plug the mouse into another USB port to rule out connectivity issues.
  3. Ensure Synapse is up-to-date. If not, update it and check if the issue persists.
  4. Open Synapse and confirm that no sensitivity adjustments or profiles are set to change automatically.
  5. Temporarily disable any other software running that may interfere with mouse settings.

You can also try the steos here to fix the problem. If you need furtehr help, PM me your device serial number and a short video showing teh issue so I can take a closer look. Save the shareable files via any online drive account listed here. I hope to hear from you soon.
