Razer Deathadder v2 x hyperspeed hardware reset

Hi, 

 

I’ve purchased the following model of mouse and I'm experiencing an issue - shortly after installing the software and making a slight change to the dpi option, the mouse doesn’t work as it should.

 

I’ve tried various options to hardware reset / software reset the mouse to no avail, I've literally had the mouse for under a day and I'm about to return it but wanted to give this forum a try?

Can someone confirm the following:

If there is a hardware reset - what is the process?
if the firmware has issues, what’s the latest version of the firmware?

I’ve never come across a situation like this where a mouse I've purchased and received less than 24 hours ago borks out like this.
