As it happens I am migrating to a new and better PC.
Some weeks ago I noticed that “Gold With Your Friends” was unplayable as the mouse fires events left, right and center. Positioning works though. It sends something that is not a mouse click and tons of them relating to mouse movement.
I thought this was an error in my old PC, but it is fully present on the new PC.
I replaced the Deathadder with an old Targus mouse and the problem went away.
So something in the combination of Deathadder V3, drivers and Golf With Your Friends does absolutely not work.
Razor Cortex is loaded, if this has any significance.
