Razer Deathadder V3 pro dongle not working | Razer Insider

Hello, So I guess this issue is famous by now? . my “second” mouse been workin fine for 4-5 months now . untill today the dongler decided to die “again” . I had this issue before and i contacted the place where i bought the mouse from and i think they sent it to you guys to fix it , and then they sent me a new one .

I’m just confused on why does this issue not fixed yet? why do i have to pay more money “shipping taxes” to send the mouse to get a new one again . I tried to update the firmware but nothing fixed it , i tried doing the “clean re-installation of synapse” and still not working . and i tried many others things but it’s not working . the issue is the dongle sometimes work if i let it rest for a bit , it works for a very short time and then dies again .
I remember i read somewhere that someguy did some magic of charging the dongle with silicon by wrapping it with silicon or whatever , I don’t know how to do that! .

Can it possibly be fixed via software updates or whatever please? “ even tho i doubt it.. because the dongler just looks dead to me “ .

I would appreciate a help and an explaination on why is this issue been goin for a while now.. and why did i get the same issue after getting the second mouse 😕

Thanks in advance.

Hello Nashruful,

I’m here to help. To isolate the problem, try to perform the workaround below.

  1. Under the Device Manager, go to mice and other appointing devices. You should see both the mouse and the Razer wireless dongle.
  2. Right-click on them and click Uninstall Device. Please make sure that "delete the driver software for this device has been checked."
  3. Restart your computer to completely uninstall the drivers.
  4. The drivers are automatically installed on your computer after a restart.
  5. Perform a clean reinstallation of Synapse following the steps here. Make sure to locate and remove all remnants of Razer Synapse from the PC
  6. If the same issue persisit, test the dongle on a different PC USB port and different cpmputer if possible.

Feel free to PM me your device serial number if you need further assistance. All the best!
