The Razer Deathadder V3 Pro (Smooth Touch) does not appear to work wirelessly with the Razer Atlas glass mousepad.
The Razer Deathadder V3 Pro comes with a “Hyperpolling Wireless Dongle” (which is apparently different from the “Hyperspeed Dongle” used with other mice, at least according to this page https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/20273/~/razer-deathadder-v3-pro-(smooth-touch)-%7C-rz01-046303-support-&-faqs).
When using this mouse while plugged in directly to the PC, wired, it can track just fine on the Razer Atlas surface, so my mouse sensor does not appear to be having any issues. However, when I try to use the wireless dongle, it stops recognizing the mousepad and cannot seem to adjust to the Razer Atlas. I do not have this issue when using the mouse wirelessly with the Razer Goliathus or Gigantus or Strider, all of which are cloth mousepads. Thus, the issue appears to be with the dongle.
Also, I have run the pairing utility successfully. I do not know of any firmware updates for the mouse in particular that would be required. The only related firmware updates I could find are not made for the Razer Deathadder V3 Pro (Smooth Touch), but rather they are made for non-smooth touch models: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/6403/~/razer-deathadder-v3-pro-firmware-updater-%7C-rz01-04630.
I found a firmware update for the Hyperpolling Wireless Dongle, but the updater is not working because the dongle does not seem to be recognized even when plugged in: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/13746/~/razer-hyperpolling-wireless-dongle-firmware-updater-%7C-rc30-04410
Please let me know if anyone else has experienced similar dongle issues with the Razer Atlas, or issues in updating the Hyperpolling Wireless dongle.
