Razer DeathAdder V3 (Wired) Randomly Disconnecting/Reconnecting

Hi everyone,

I'm having a recurring disconnection issue with my Razer DeathAdder V3 (wired version). The mouse is relatively new, so I don't think it's a wear-and-tear issue.

The symptom: the mouse randomly disconnects and then reconnects on its own (cursor disappear  momentarily, then comes back).

What I've already tried, with no success:

  • Used a different USB port on my PC
  • Reinstalled Razer Synapse completely
  • Tested the mouse without Synapse running at all
  • Tested the mouse with Synapse running
  • Checked/inspected the cable itself to see if the issue was cable-related — no visible damage, and the problem persists regardless
  • "I already closed Razer Synapse and it doesn't work either."

None of the above has resolved the disconnections. Has anyone dealt with this on a DeathAdder V3 before, or does Razer support have additional steps to diagnose whether this is a hardware fault under warranty?

If it’s under warranty - contact Razer Support then: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/categories/m/pc

Describe tshooting steps that you’ve made (checked dongle on several PCs etc).

Hey there, @PhantomD8

Thank you for sharing the details. To help us narrow down the cause, could you please let me know:

1. Does the disconnection occur when you move, bend, or lightly wiggle the cable, particularly near the mouse or USB connector?
2. Have you tried connecting the mouse to a different PC to check whether the issue persists there as well?

Please let me know the results via PM along with the device’s serial number so I can check its details in our system and assist you further.
