I’ve had this problem for a long time now. It seems that Razer will not fix this software problem. So the only solution I’ve found is to start up Synapse and make your changes and settings to whatever device you have. Then close the program completely. That means closing it on the taskbar so its not even running in the background. Your device settings should still work. Also make sure to turn off the option to start the app on windows startup. This problem is 100% due to the app and not any of the devices themselves.

Dude, you just saved me, I was already losing my mind. I was about to buy a USB hub, I thought it was my MSI motherboard, I was messing around in the BIOS, re-routing cables, buying new ones, I tried everything. But today, following your advice, I just closed Synapse and HALLELUJAH, the mouse started waking up in 1-1.5 seconds. Thank you so much!

How is this still a thing 2 years after it was reported across multiple synapse versions?

Razer… What the heck are you doing? Viper V3 Pro and deathstalker v2 both constantly disconnect. I have no words for how unacceptable this is.

Fcking fix your shit razer! These are premium products, and you do nothing…

I'm experiencing the same issue—my Razer Huntsman V3 Pro TKL keeps constantly reconnecting. I'm using Synapse 4, and this problem makes the keyboard unusable at times.

I've tried basic troubleshooting (different USB ports, reinstalling Synapse, checking firmware), but the issue persists.

@Razer, please investigate and fix this. It’s clearly affecting multiple users and needs urgent attention.

(This worked on a mouse , Razer X .

use the 2 seconds you have of it connected to be in Synapse app
And than cancel the RGB lights
than the mouse would stop dissconnecting

it is a pity that if you close the program, the backlight is not saved.

Depends on the device. Some have the hardware to save those settings.

Problem fixed

It was not a driver’s error nor a software issue, i went to a local maintenance store which fix pc gears and they told me the problem was with the cable from inside of the mouse itself, they changed the cable and pin inside i think and yeah the mouse is doing really great right now.

Same thing for me. I have a Huntsman v3 pro and in keeps going on the disconnect/reconnect loop.

I talked with support, set them videos, logs, etc… and nothing.

Weird thing is that it happens only to the Huntsman. I have a mouse and soundbar as well and they don’t disconnect.

It only happens while synapse is running so it’s definitely a software issue.

I just don’t understand how can this issue be a thing after so many years and not get fixed.

Last razor products I'll ever buy, it was the most expensive thing in the store. You would think I was buying quality, not a keyboard that can't stay charged while plugged in while being brand new. Not something that makes me lose every game because the keys are so sensitive. I'm pressing shift just by hovering my atoms above it software that makes me accept spam in my inbox. I do not want but if I don't select yes I cannot continue. Are you serious??! Beyond garbage, I've had better budget gear any day of the week, even your website's garbage. I had the sign in three separate times just to post this. I will not even give this piece of garbage away. I'm going to beat it to death with a bat and I will warn everybody forever. I have never had this experience in my life. Two devices garbage. This is a company I would love to see. All the people lose their jobs to AI. I can't even use my keyboard on a restart without logging in multiple times and verifying myself with codes and emails. Get the hell out of here.

The fact this is still a thing is insane. I bought a vertical pro click because I was surprised they actually made an ergo offering that’s a better shape than the Logitech vertical mice and is essentially a copy of the Evoluent Vertical Mouse (minus the actually useful 3 button setup on the Evoluent). I’ve gone through the RMA process once and I’m kicking myself for not just returning it.

The worst part for me is that it isn’t even Synapse. It happens on all 3 of my computers, 2 of them without synapse installed. It doesn’t matter what port I plug the wireless dongle into. I’m more convinced that the problem lies with whatever proprietary wireless “improvements" they’ve made. Last time I’m ever touching a razer product. I should’ve went with my gut and got the evoluent after I had to return one to my old job but I liked the more appealing aesthetic of the pro click v2.

The same thing happened on both mice. The first few times I used them, they were fine. Then after a while they started acting up and now it happens once an hour if not more. I just had it cycle about 4 times in a row.

Yeah this Synapse 3 AND 4 is friggin garbage, about the 12th Razer peripheral I have purchased (Blackwidowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Pro) Yep...its disconnected several times even writing this out.... Really only truly liked the now discontinued Orbweaver (still use constantly, on 3 or 4th via Ebay now), Synapse 2 mouse and keyboard was just fine, but 3-4...trash! On to something else once I can break free of the Orbweaver chains, Tatarus is no good either, comparatively anyways.

This started happening to me last week on my BlackWidow (RZ03-0286).  Closing Synapse stops the on/off loop.  For me (win 11), it starts happening immediately if I start Synapse.  Every 5 seconds -- on -- off.  If i turn on the Gaming mode, the keyboard shuts off completely (If Synapse is running).

My mouse works fine, however. (Basilisk v3)

Prompted every few mins since I started using Razer USB 4 Dock (14-port) ?,  I didn’t have this problem back when I was using a Logitech Dock.

Current Setup:

  • Laptop: Blade 14 2024
  • USB 4 Dock (14-port)
  • Mouse 1: VIPER V3 Pro
  • Mouse 2: Pro Click V2
  • Keyboard 1: JORO
  • Keyboard 2: JORO
  • Screen: Raptor 27 (165Hz)
  • Speaker: Leviathan V2 Pro
  • Others: Bungee Cord V3 Chroma

Anyone knows how to resolve?

Hello Razer Support Team,

I hope you are doing well.

I am contacting you because I am experiencing serious and constant issues with my Razer Barracuda, and at this point I really don’t know what else to do.

Even with the headset showing 100% battery, it does not stay powered on and turns off automatically for no apparent reason. In addition, both the audio output and the microphone sound robotic, making it impossible to use the headset properly for calls, gaming, or work.

This happens very frequently, and the only temporary workaround is to turn the headset off and on repeatedly, which is extremely frustrating and completely impractical. A product at this level and price should not behave this way.

I have already checked the battery, connections, and tested the headset on different devices, and the problem still persists.

I am honestly asking, please, for help, whether through a definitive solution, firmware update, replacement, or any clear guidance, because right now the headset is almost unusable.

I trust the quality of the Razer brand and truly hope you can help me resolve this issue, as I really like the product when it works correctly.

Thank you in advance for your attention. I look forward to your response.

Kind regards,
