I’ve had this problem for a long time now. It seems that Razer will not fix this software problem. So the only solution I’ve found is to start up Synapse and make your changes and settings to whatever device you have. Then close the program completely. That means closing it on the taskbar so its not even running in the background. Your device settings should still work. Also make sure to turn off the option to start the app on windows startup. This problem is 100% due to the app and not any of the devices themselves.

Dude, you just saved me, I was already losing my mind. I was about to buy a USB hub, I thought it was my MSI motherboard, I was messing around in the BIOS, re-routing cables, buying new ones, I tried everything. But today, following your advice, I just closed Synapse and HALLELUJAH, the mouse started waking up in 1-1.5 seconds. Thank you so much!

DOnt work wor my (( close APP back defoult settings!!

Hello everyone,

I found a solution for the issue where the Razer Naga X (RZ01-0359) stops working completely after 1–2 seconds and disappears from Synapse 4.

After trying software fixes without success, I decided to open the mouse. Inside, I noticed a small flat cable (similar to a ribbon cable) connected to the side numeric keypad. I carefully disconnected this cable and then plugged the mouse back into my PC.

With the cable disconnected, the mouse profile finally loaded correctly in Synapse 4, and the device started working perfectly again. It seems that the keypad connection was blocking the profile from loading.

Details:

Device: Razer Naga X (RZ01-0359)

OS: Windows 11

Software: Razer Synapse 4 Beta (but I believe this workaround would also apply to the regular Synapse 4 release)

Issue: Mouse stopped working after 1–2 seconds, Synapse 4 lost connection.

Solution: Open the mouse, disconnect the ribbon cable for the numeric keypad, reconnect to PC.
