Razer Devices Disconnecting and Re-Connecting: My Observations

Alright, I’ve become too fed up with this, so I’m posting to see if anyone else notices these criteria I get for this issue. For reference:PC Specs: Intel i5 12600, GeForce RTX 3060 - Zotac Gaming edition, Corsair Vengence Pro - 32GB x2 - filler units x2, ASUS “PRIME” series mobo, Samsung EVO (960?) 2TB m.2Razer Devices: Blackwidow V4 X, Naga Pro v1, Chroma Mouse Dock, Goliathus Chroma Extended mousepad First: The issue seems to update the lighting, both the keyboard and mouse at the same time, but not the mousepad or mouse dock. I believe this may have ties to the game-profile link feature because of my mousepad and docks’ lack of profiles, but no evidence, just observation. Second: The issue only arises when I’m actively playing a game. Specifically, it seems to happen to me more when I’m playing Apex: Legends then when I’m playing The Finals. This leads me to believe it could be linked to the in-game lighting effect, where games (such as Apex for example) take over your lighting and “immerse you” more into the game by making the lights match what’s on the screen. Again, just speculation. Third: There are 2 distinct disconnects when a “patterns” passes, where the mouse - drops inputs (and holds any active inputs like holding a click) for about a 10th of a second and then comes back for about ½ a second - and then drops inputs for another 10th of a second, before returning to normal. The lighting follows suit, flashing with every input drop at the exact same time. Fourth: This issue seems to “ramp up” in intensity. My “fix” for the issue has always just been uninstalling and reinstalling everything Razer related, but it never is a permanent fix. The reset fixes the issue at first, but after about a month (for me), it slowly starts happening again. First with just 1 or 2 a play session, but then the next day 4, then 8, then never ending, sometime multiple “patterns” within a second. When it gets this out of control, it makes any game COMPLETELY unplayable, and the “fix” takes multiple HOURS, something I don’t have much of. Conclusion: I believe it’s caused by a specific “feature”, and maybe that after some time, more and more instances of Razer software start running simultaneously, causing that “ramp up” that I was talking about earlier. Unless it’s normal, I came to this conclusion seeing about 50 instances of Razer’s software running in the background in task manager, but that could be different threads or separate “features” running adjacent to the main program. Either way, this is (without a doubt) the most annoying issue I have ever had with any software I’ve ever used. If it weren’t for expired/voided warranties, I would have returned my devices and went down the “multiple brands” route, but I can’t unfortunately, and money is something I don’t have a lot of right now, so I can’t buy other devices to replace these. If there is any 3rd party software that maintains device functionality while removing bloatware, I’d highly appreciate it. Even if there’s no native lighting built in, I have OpenRGB for that. To Razer: If you are seeing this, please do something about this issue. It’s not a small and localized issue, probably thousands of us are effected by this. You got hardware right, so do the other half of the job right too. You have loyal customers, for your sake, don’t loose them. tl;dr: The individual paragraphs labeled “First” to “Fourth” list detailed issues about the problem as a whole, “Conlusion” and “To Razer” in the following 2 paragraphs are just me ranting and sharing my thoughts and opinions.
