As long as there is a voltage running through the dock, the battery on the mouse does not get discharged. But, it will deplete the battery lifespan much quicker

When you mention "Battery discharge", are you meaning the lifespan depletion?
what i am trying to understand is if it is safe to keep your mice on dock for days even for weeks, because the rgb of the mice is still working while on dock and if its discharging the battery nonstop and charging it at the same time or periodically it will damage(decrease lifespan) the battery for sure

i just saw your edit, but how will it affect the battery if its not discharging it at all? is there logical explanation for that?

By leaving on charging dock, it will still eventually deplete the battery lifespan. The mouse is still turned on and releasing RGB lights; it is constantly using the battery and charging at the same. Because I'm no lithium ion or NiMH or any type of rechargeable battery expert, but every battery lifespan will automatically deplete due to the chemical properties of the ion. Have a read of the following link, maybe it'll give some explanation. https://airqualitynews.com/2021/01/12/why-do-lithium-ion-batteries-degrade-over-time/

yes i know that batteries doesn't last forever but this is what you said "As long as there is a voltage running through the dock, the battery on the mouse does not get discharged." if the battery isn't discharging in the dock how will it deplete the battery lifespan much quicker?

i can't understand what are you trying to say because there is a conflict in your explanation first you said: "As long as there is a voltage running through the dock, the battery on the mouse does not get discharged." then you said: The mouse is still turned on and releasing RGB lights; it is constantly using the battery and charging at the same.
