Razer Driver issue ? Windows hangs during logon if another is already log

Hi, I have bought a Razer Death Adder v2 and I have the same issue than in the following thread : "/razer-driver-causes-windows-to-hang-if-a-second-user-logs-on.69999/". The taskbar is frozen during 5 to 10 minutes. If I press the Windows key it seems that "explorer.exe" crashes. Of course, I have no problem with my old Razer Imperator. I try another Death Adder V2 and same problem :( When I disconnect the second user, It "unblocks" the taskbar.

No one knows ? :(

Ok, it's resolved with another brand. I've returned my Death Adder. Good luck if you have the same issue.

Same issue here. I try another Death Adder V2 and same problem too. I have no problem with my old Death Adder Expert.

Same issue for me too. Deathadder v2. I thought my HDDs were going bad so I replace those and did a fresh Windows 10 20H2 install. Still the same issue. I thought my mobo was going bad too until I saw this thread. This is my first Razer purchase and I'm glad I'm still in the Best Buy return window. Taking this thing back tomorrow! Update: I uninstalled the Synapse software and unplugged the Deathadder v2. Put my old Logitech one back in and rebooted. Issue is resolved. I can login to multiple profiles on my computer again.

Solution? Razer? Nobody? Garbage.

Hi, There is a better workaround for this until Razer fix this. The problem is a clash with Human Interface Device entries in Win 10. Go into Device Manager. Go into Human Interface Devices Unplug all USB devices except your Mouse. Right click on all your entries starting 'HID compliant' Choose disable. Plug your USB devices all back in. Restart. Try it now. Happy days. No need to log out other users.

your solution sounds good but does not always work if the deactivate button cannot be pressed interestingly enough, the RAZER Viper 8KHz seems to have two HIDs the first cannot be disabled the other can be inactivated interesting seems to be two HID for RAZER Viper 8KHz

Yes, if no disable option there, the entry can be ignored.
