Razer Electra v2 3.5mm Analog - Multiple Questions | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
Hey guys,

I just got Razer Electra v2 headphones - analog version with 3.5mm combined audio jack and I've already got a few problems.

First problem is not related directly to headphones - it's that Synapse v2.0 won't start on my computer. I install it normally, log in with my RazerID, then I wait for it to "detect and update" drivers and after that nothing happens. When I try to run it, nothing. I've tried several solutions that I found on both this forum and online - including deleting some log files, completely reinstalling the program, and the one that got me the most concerned - uninstall Razer drivers from Device Manager. When I tried to go for that solution - I didn't find a Razer driver there and it seems like my headphones are detected as Conexant SmartAudio HD. So, I decided to find a different way and try to install my drivers manually - but it looks like there is no installation for it, I have to go thorugh Synapse which just won't start or detect anything. So my question here is - how do I enable the drivers and make Synapse work?

Apart from that, I read on one of these threads that activation codes for Virtual 7.1 surround sound are no longer generated for these headphones. My question here is if there is any way to enable this option? Cause if that is not the case, I might have just found myself with a below average headphones, which is not something I've expected from brand such as Razer.

Please help me get over my initial dissapointment guys. 🙂
