Razer Electra v2 USB detected but not working

Hi all! I have a problem with my Razer Electra v2 USB. It suddenly stopped working while in use. It gets detected by the Device Manager and the Sound Control Panel, but neither the headphones nor the mic seem to do anything. What's also strange is that the volume setting for the headphones seems to go only to either 0 or 100, nothing in between, and the Razer Firmware Updater does not detect the headset as plugged in at all. I tried other USB ports (not using a hub, plugged directly into the motherboard). Any ideas what might be the issue or is it the simple case of it giving off the white smoke? Thanks in advance!
