Razer Firefly malfunctioning

I received a Razer Firefly (hard edition) as a Christmas gift a couple months ago and after just a couple days of having it I got a notification on windows stating something along the lines of "The last USB device you used malfunctioned and windows does not recognise it." I wrote it down to a one time error so I unplugged it and plugged it back in, worked for about an hour and then got the same error, I have tried multiple different USB ports and I have the latest drivers for the Firefly, I wrote it down to maybe some sort of overheating error so I left it for a little while and then plugged it back in yesterday, it worked for the whole day, I thought it had fixed itself, but when I woke up this morning and turned my PC back on it malfunctioned after around 25 minutes, I'm not quite sure what to do now. I have searched the internet far and wide for any solutions and none of them worked, it happens on multiple different Chroma profiles so it's not that. In case it means anything, I am using a Razer Mamba TE and a Razer Huntsman Elite alongside the Firefly, I also have all my Razer programs up to date. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you also tried isolating the issue by connecting the Firefly mousemat to another computer to see if you get the same error? Have you done some updates or changes on your computer before you experienced this issue?
