Razer Firefly v2 mat in combination with Razer Basilisk ultimate- Finding the proper mouse feet | Razer Insider

Hi,

I purchased my razer basilisk ultimate and razer firefly v2 mat at the same time. When I initially started using them they both felt great, the mouse slid across that mat like an ice cube on a flat top grill, super smooth, absolutely no friction. Two weeks later i started to notice increased amounts of drag. the mouse feet were already worn out to where the bottom of the mouse was rubbing on the mat. so i bought some new feet. Here's where my problem lies, I added some new mouse feet, initially great experience and 2 weeks later the feet start to feel like sand paper. so much friction after so little time. I added another pair of mouse feet thinking somehow the mat was still catching the bottom of the mat. Once again, smooth as butter for 2 weeks. I now have 3 pairs of mouse feet on my mouse, my mat for some reason catches in one spot, the whole experience is nothing compared to when i first bought them. I guess what im really trying to find out is what mouse feet i need to buy to return my things to optimal condition? or should i just scrap this mat and purchase a goliathus. This hard mat, while looking great, has been extremely inconsistent and it highly affects my aim in fps shooters like Apex Legends (P.S. i have been extremely diligent with the upkeep and cleanliness of both the mat and the mouse since purchase, cleaning the mat and mouse feet)
