Razer Goliathus Extended Chroma detection by Synapse4 problem

Hi,

I got my new pad yesterday. I connected it to a USB 3 port on the motherboard and it lit up on the edges, but the plastic nub on the top left with the Razer logo did not. 

I got notification from windows for a successful device install and prompted me to restart my PC, so I did. After that I opened Synapse and the pad was there along with my KB and mouse, bit it just had a tiny green circle rotating and when I clicked it, Synapse just showed “Detecting Device...”. I waited for a while, but nothing changed.

 

 

 

I tried different USB ports. Uninstalling it from Device Manager, reinstalling Synapse and even the Device Detection Troubleshoot Tool, but it’s still the same.

I’m using Windows 11 with the latest updates.

Is there anything else that I can do, or should I return it?

    im having the exact same problem. been using Synapse 4 for a while and its always worked, but i just got a new PC and installed Synapse 4 on it just a few hours ago and its just endless loading on my Goliathus Extended Chroma like in your screenshots. ive tried everything any nothing working so far

    I am having this problem as well. My keyboard, mouse and dock are all reconigzed by Synapase 4 but not the Goliathus Chroma mat.

    It's happening the samething with me.

    If I uninstall the Synapse 4, restart PC and then install again, It will show the Goliathus Extended Chroma for a time, it will download a ~3mb file and then just vanish from Synapse.

    Also, in my Device Manager it was showing once as Goliathus Extentended Chroma with the conflict exclamation but now it only show as HID-COMPLIANT mouse in the Mice and other pointing devices section. But it also show as Razer Goliathuys Chroma under the Human Interface Devices.

    I cant change the color of the mat :(
