Razer hammerhead pro hyperspeed issues

I've had my Razer earbuds for almost a year and for a while now my earbuds connect to my phone while in the case. This causes the battery to drain when I'm not using them and more recently they have started making a high pitch beeping or whistling sound completely randomly when in the case. I have tried everything to fix them and I cannot get the firmware to update anymore it just gets stuck downloading forever. I'm not sure if warranty still covers them since I bought them on the same day march 14 last year.
