Razer Hanbo Wiring up Fans

Synapse detects my hanbo but the fans don't spin. I think it's because I wired it up wrong but I’m not sure. The ARGB 3-pin connectors are wired to a rgb controller and the other two 3 or 4-pin connectors for the fan power are plugged into the hanbo wiring harness like it's shown in the manual. Should I wire it to the motherboard directly? If so, I don't have enough fan connectors for all my fans.
