razer huntsman elite and 2 usb plugs
Hi. I know I need both plugs to be plugged in to get rgb lighting. But, can I plug one into my (kvm switch) and the other into a powerbar? Or do both need to be plugged into the computers usb?

IMO your conception should work - keyboard plug into KVM and Chroma USB into a powerbar. Dunno what's with Chroma re-configuration, but it should be done via keyboard (data) plug.
I just tried it. Seems to work fine. I can change the colors through the plug that connects to the usb port on the computer.
