Razer Huntsman V2 Analog is recognized as joystick and xbox 360 controller | Razer Insider

Good day

I bought a Razer Huntsman V2 Analog, it works great, except that my xbox controller with adapter no longer works. because the keyboard is not only recognized as a keyboard but also as a joystick and as XBox 360 controller and thus prevents everything so that I can use my normal XBOX series X controller, I have also changed it in the controller settings, have tried everything in the settings but it helps nothing.

I hope you can help me with this.
If you have the "Bind WASD keys to controller joystick" enabled in synapse then it will indeed act as a controller.

I have 2 keyboard profiles (one with this enabled, one without) and switch them on the fly with my chosen keyboard shortcut.

Steam also manages to get this confused very easy causing issues with my xbox controller. I tend to delete all tick boxes in the steam general controller settings and it has stopped giving me issues.

You may find luck with some combination of these.

The person above is correct but this only applies to certain games, if you are playing a game with controller keys unbinded and it’s still treated as a controller then do the follow

  1. Locate “device manager” in windows
  2. locate inside “device manager” the following “Xbox 360 Peripherals” (or something similar I use a huntsman v3 pro mini which may be different from huntsman v2)
  3. open that up and right click “Xbox 360 controller for windows”
  4. click “disable device” you will have to restart your device and then your done! If you ever need to use the controller featur just repeat steps 1-3 and instead of clicking disable click “enable device”
